!! Why do kids get to have all the FUN !!

So….you just registered your son or daughter in Lancaster AYSO Soccer.  You have purchased them new cleats and shin guards, and soon they will be having a great time at team practices and league matches.  They will be running up and down the field yelling to their teammates, and what will you be doing?  Will you be okay with just sitting there, or will the inner child in you say; “Get me some cleats!  I want to have some fun too!

We have a deal for you!  How about a whistle and a yellow jersey to go with the cleats?   

Don’t be left out, you can join into the fun and become a Region 91 Volunteer Referee.  Don’t know much about soccer?  No problem!  We will train and equip you.  Multiple training dates will be offered this spring and summer.

This is not just for Dads.  Moms and siblings …..we are looking to train you too.  A number of our best referees are ladies; talk to them and find out how much fun you could be having as a Region 91 Volunteer Referee!  

We also find that young people 12 and over are excellent referees. 

 Many of the players already know the game and bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to our volunteer referee program.  We want you to join us!

Maybe you are a new coach (or an old coach!) and would like to learn more about the laws of soccer.  When you are explaining the laws of soccer to your team or child, or they ask a question about the laws of the game, you want to have the correct answer for them. Hey… the offside rule can get kind-of tricky…right?

Classes will be coming to a convenient location near you soon!  Sign-up to be a volunteer referee and join in on all the fun!
