AYSO
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) was established in the Los Angeles area in 1964 with nine teams. It was the dream of a group of devoted soccer enthusiasts who started the organization in a garage. Today, AYSO has more than 50,000 teams and more than 650,000 players. It also employs 50 people at its National Support & Training Center in Hawthorne, California.

AYSO Region 91
Region 91 was established in 1975, we recently celebrated our 35th anniversary, making Region 91 the most established region in the Antelope Valley. Region 91 also enjoys playing on 29 of the best manicured fields in the Antelope Valley at the Lancaster National Soccer Complex.

We were proud to host the 2004 AYSO National Games at our facilities.

The great thing about practicing and playing at one location for parents with several children playing in different divisions is that you don't have to travel to differnt locations to watch them play, AND you won't miss any of their games. All you have to is move your chair to the next field.

Our partnership with the city allows Region 91 coaches to spend most of their time with the kids, teaching them the game of soccer. Meaning, there is no lining of the fileds, no setting up or breaking down goals and no traveling from park to park or school to school. There is plenty of parking for all of your family members to come enjoy the games. Region 91 mainly practices and plays on the East Side fields, they have three well maintained and clean bathrooms (no porta bathrooms), a playground for the kids, and a city run snack bar. Region 91 volunteers and parents DO NOT have snack bar duty. Yay!
